Doug Fisher

Douglas Fisher is a Professor of Educational Leadership in the Department of Teacher Education at San Diego State University and a teacher leader at Health Sciences High & Middle College. His focus is on improving students’ learning and impacting professional learning communities. Fisher is the recipient of an International Reading Association Celebrate Literacy Award, the Farmer Award for excellence in writing from the National Council of Teachers of English, as well as a Christa McAuliffe Award for excellence in teacher education.

John Almarode

Dr. John Almarode, a bestselling author, has worked with schools, classrooms, and teachers all over the world. He has presented locally, nationally, and internationally on the application of the science of learning to the classroom, school, and home environments. In addition to devoting his time to PreK – 12 schools and classrooms, John is an Associate Professor of Education and the Executive Director of Teaching and Learning in the College of Education at James Madison University.
